A MESSAGE FROM OUR SPONSOR

Crestline Coach, a division of the second-largest ambulance manufacturer in North America, specializes in manufacturing ambulances and specialty vehicles for EMS and health care agencies out of its facility in Saskatoon.

According to Crestline President Steve Hoffrogge, Saskatchewan's business-friendly attitude towards the manufacturing sector has been critical to growing its business and exports, especially with Saskatchewan’s Manufacturing and Processing (M&P) Exporter Tax Incentive.

This incentive provides yearly non-refundable tax credits to eligible manufacturing corporations in Saskatchewan that expand their yearly workforce.

“As we began to scale operations the provincial M&P program was quite beneficial as we’ve doubled our employees in production and office staff. The earned tax credits play an important role as we plan for increases in employees to support our unit sales,” said Hoffrogge.

In 2022, Hoffrogge says Crestline is on the cusp of expanding its manufacturing facility by another 30,000 sq. ft. and will require additional employees as growth continues. “The quality of people here, prairie-ingenuity, a desire and drive to get things done and solve problems, has been the strength on which the company has been founded on and it’s the constant that’s driven our success,” he said.
