J/E Bearing & Machine Ltd in Tillsonburg, Ontario knew that automating their machine tending application would increase quality and output, reduce downtime and increase profitability. For the company’s often high mix and medium to low volume operations, robotics and automation was the key to success when this project grew to higher volumes.
In true DIY style, J/E Bearing & Machine Ltd integrated the Universal Robots cobot with Robotiq grippers themselves. They connected the pneumatics and programmed the robot without any outside integration.
