Welland, Ont., has been selected as the home of GE Canada’s new multi-modal “Brilliant Factory,” a gas-engine plant that’s being shifted from Wisconsin. The facility will initially manufacture GE Power’s reciprocating engines, components for compression, mechanical drive, and power generation, and manufacture components for GE transportation diesel engines.
