The eXtended Transport System® from Beckhoff offers paradigm-shifting capabilities for motion control and mechatronics. Unlike some linear transport systems, XTS® supports nearly unlimited options for movers, track shapes and sizes, combination with auxiliary tracks and robotics integration. An unlimited number of wireless XTS movers can move independently of one another in the highly dynamic system, accelerating at up to 100 m/s² and reaching speeds of 4 m/s along the mechanical guide rails. Connected motor modules can span multiple lengths, and they create simple straight segments and complete loops, such as circles, ovals or S-curves with 45- and 22.5-degree modules.
