PSENradar Long Range – Enhanced Flexibility and Extended Detection

Safe radar sensors are crucial in harsh environments where optoelectronic sensors fail. Using FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar technology, these sensors maintain machine uptime despite dust, dirt, rain, light, sparks, or vibrations. The new PSEN rd1.2 F-FOV LR enhances existing benefits by incorporating asymmetrical and corridor-shaped fields of view, extending the detection range up to 9 meters. This improvement addresses more safety applications, especially in mobile and expansive environments. Additionally, ProfiSafe and FSoE communications are available, enabling users to capture more data, including detection coordinates and sensor status.
