Wisconsin opens first manure-to-energy site

DTE Biomass Energy has opened its first, and the state of Wisconsin’s first, combined dairy renewable natural gas processing and interstate injection facility.


Ag startup finalists announced for Manure Innovation Challenge

The Yield Lab Institute, an agrifood tech entrepreneurship support organization, announced the finalists for its Manure Innovation Challenge. The Institute will work with the eight chosen companies to help bring their manure solutions to market.


Cow manure used to power 1,600 homes

At Barstow’s Longview Farm in Hadley, MA, enough electricity is generated from their anaerobic digester that is fed cow manure and food waste to power over 1,000 homes.
