Dominion Energy and Vanguard Renewables Ag partnered in a more than $200-million nationwide partnership to convert methane from U.S. dairy farms into renewable natural gas (RNG) that can be used to heat homes, power businesses and fuel vehicles. The news of the partnership allows dairy farmers across the United States to strongly consider the business case of adding anaerobic digesters to their operation.

As complaints about odor emissions increase, poultry and swine producers have come under increasing pressure to reduce their impact on the surrounding areas. Technology to reduce odor problems have been studied and tested for several years, and in 2019, a two-part system launched to help clear the air.
