USDA forecasts record farm sector profits for 2022

After two challenging years, farm cash receipts are expected to increase for this year, in some cases to record levels. For the animal agriculture sector, cash receipts are expected to increase by more than 30 percent relative to 2021, with the largest increases being expected for chicken, eggs, broilers and milk.
