May – Exro partners with electric vehicle manufacturer

Exro Technologies signed an agreement with ev Transportation Services (evTS), to supply units of its 100V Coil Drive System beginning in 2023, for use in evTS model year 2023 FireFly vehicles.


June – Agreement brings rail service back to Thorold Multimodal Hub

Bioveld Canada and HOPA Ports have signed an industrial switch agreement with Canadian rail services provider, GIO Railways Corporation, to enable the use of existing CN Rail infrastructure at the Thorold Multimodal Hub to transload cargo.


July – OPG and X-energy pursue clean energy opportunities

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and X-energy signed a framework agreement to pursue deploying Xe-100 small modular reactors for industrial applications in Canada.
