Sound solutions. Applied to hearing loss prevention.

Sound solutions. Applied to hearing loss prevention.

Even common sounds you hear at work or home can contribute to long term hearing loss and other health risks. Over time, noise at or above 85 dBA can damage hearing and cause ringing in the ears. Reduce these sound levels by using hearing protection in loud environments.

Administration of a comprehensive and effective hearing loss prevention program consists of more than purchasing and dispensing hearing protectors. Webinar participants will gain necessary knowledge and skills to understand the effects of hazardous noise, understand requirements in CSA hearing standards, select the appropriate hearing protection devices for their work environment, train and motivate employees in the proper use hearing protection devices, and understand how Fit Testing elevates your hearing loss prevention program

This Sound Solutions webinar is designed for professionals who are responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of a hearing loss prevention program including those responsible for the dispensing of hearing protection devices (HPDs). Attendees may include industrial hygienists, health and safety personnel, nurses, audiologists, consultants, engineers and medical staff.

Every employee is different. Every job is different. Every ear is different. Noise induced hearing loss is 100% preventable. Discover how 3M science helps you get smarter about hearing protection.
