OHS Canada is looking to recognize the most effective and innovative health and safety practices and professionals across the country. Nominations are now open for OHS Honours, the premiere national awards competition from Canada’s leading safety media brand.

The deadline to submit nominations is July 15, 2023. There are team and individual awards up for grabs, and in all culminates in a gala celebration in September in Toronto.

The award categories are as follows:

• OHS Canada Hall of Fame (3 inductees)
• Community Leader Award (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• OHS Professional of the Year (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• OHS Team of the Year (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• Best Use of Safety Technology (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• OHS Culture Award (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• Best Safety Communications Program (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• OHS Rising Star Award (Winner, Honourable Mention) – This would be in addition to the Top 25, and likely chosen among that group of nominees.
• Best Hand Protection Program (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• OHS Lawyer of the Year (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• Psychologically Safe Workplace Award (Winner, Honourable Mention)
• Best Ergonomics Program (Winner, Honourable Mention)
