Suspect admits to stabbing deaths of man, woman at Alberta work camp

GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. - A trial in northern Alberta is hearing grisly details about a work camp cook who killed two other workers - stabbing one man more than 70 times, cutting off parts of his body and lighting him on fire.


Court hears Manitoba Mountie left with severe head wound after shooting

BRANDON, Man. - A bail hearing for one of four men charged after a Manitoba RCMP officer was shot and injured has heard that the Mountie was struck in the back of the head after running the suspects off the road with his cruiser.
