Alberta no longer requires JHSCs at every worksite

A legislation change in late 2019 means Alberta employers are only required to have one joint health and safety committee, regardless of the number of worksites they have open.

New health and safety requirements required for contract bids in Vaughan, Ont.

As of March, contractors working with the City of Vaughan will require an IHSA health and safety certificate or an equivalent in order to bid on construction projects.
