Manufacturer fined $65K after worker seriously injured

Bourgault Industries Ltd., operating as Highline Manufacturing Ltd., has been fined $65,000 after pleading guilty to one violation of Saskatchewan’s Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020.


Saskatchewan's Operation Safe Driver issues 235 tickets

Between July 7 and 13, Saskatchewan Highway Patrol (SHP) completed Operation Safe Driver Week, employing heightened traffic enforcement strategies that put officers in contact with 344 drivers throughout the province. As part of the campaign, the SHP completed 238 inspections of commercial vehicles, with 43 per cent passing inspections.
