Worker dies at underground potash mine in southern Saskatchewan

A worker has died at an underground potash mine in southern Saskatchewan. The Mosaic Company says the employee died in what it calls a fall of ground incident.


Oakville company fined $125,000 after workplace injury

Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, operating at Nelson Steel, has been fined $125,000 after a worker was injured while repairing a steel coil.


Workplace injury results in $70,000 fine for retail logistics provider

National Logistics Services (2006) Inc. has been fined $70,000 after a worker was critically injured by a forklift at a workplace in Brampton, Ont.


Partnership between ICOHPS and CCOHS aims to enrich workplace safety in Indigenous communities

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and the Indigenous Centre for Occupational Health and Public Safety (ICOHPS) have signed a memorandum of understanding to work together to enrich health and safety in Indigenous communities in Canada.
