Snow Removal and Safe Operation with Hyundai Wheel Loaders

When it comes to snow removal, having the right machines to get the job done safely and efficiently is key. Hyundai Construction Equipment wheel loaders come equipped with many standard features to assist in these conditions.  For the operator, the cab includes heat/ac, heated air-ride seats, and pressurized cabs.  This keeps the operator comfortable even in the toughest conditions. Hyundai Wheel loaders also come standard with safety railings, non-slip steps, and rearview cameras.

One optional technology available on all wheel loaders is our 360-degree AAVM, All Around View Monitoring system with IMOD (Intelligent Moving Object Detection).  With this additional technology, it adds 3 more cameras to the machine to complement the rearview camera and creates numerous views on the monitor such as 3D birds eye, 3D rear view, 2D bird view, and 3D left and right views. The IMOD also shows visual red or green warnings depending on how close an object or person is and will sound an audible alarm as well to alert the operator of the obstacle.

When sending your fleet out to clear the roads during snow storms, it is also a great safety feature to be able to keep up with where they are and how the machine is performing. Hyundai’s Hi MATE telematics system allows the operator and the fleet manager to get real-time data on the machine including, but not limited to its location and current diagnostics. This ensures that if an issue occurs, an immediate diagnosis can be made to get the machine up and running sooner.  Geo-fencing is another feature for both security of the machine and safety as it will stop a machine if it goes out of a specified zone.
