Bringing its latest concrete vibration technology to Las Vegas, Minnich showed off its Stringer electric flex shaft concrete vibrator at this year’s show. Driven by a 14.5-pound double-insulated universal motor, the 15-amp (115-volt) version of the vibrator has a speed range of 11,000 to 13,000 vibrations per minute designed to meet current concrete placement challenges.

Mack Trucks now offers the mDrive HD automated manual transmission (AMT) in its TerraPro concrete pumper models. The AMT comes standard with split-shaft PTO functionality, which receive output directly from the transmission. In the TerraPro lineup, mDrive will be paired exclusively with the 11-litre MP7 engine, and is available as a 13-speed direct drive or overdrive, as well as a 14-speed direct drive.
