Last year will likely be viewed as one of the more unusual ones in the annals of the Canadian construction industry. While some companies reported slightly lower revenues compared to last year’s survey, overall collective construction volumes were up, and there were more gains than dips among respondents. Our 2022 survey, which is based on 2021 revenues, also has more companies in the billion-dollar club.
In a year hit with a mix of rising prices, concerns about availability of labour, and ongoing supply chain issues, not to mention ongoing pandemic concerns, the industry forged ahead.
Our annual Top Contractors report dives into how the industry performed in 2021.
It includes:
- The Top 40 – Our list of the industry biggest firms
- An in-depth look how companies navigated a challenging year
- The Top Five Under 50 Employees
