Vögele AG recently introduced its new VR 500 screed with rear-mounted extensions. The VR 500 is equipped with extending units that can be sloped by up to 10 per cent and is tailored to the paving requirements of the North American market. In combination with the company’s Super 1700-3i and Super 1703-3i pavers, it achieves pave widths of between 2.55 m (8 ft. 4 in.) and 6.40 m (20 ft. 12 in.) making it suitable for the construction of roadways and for medium to large paving jobs. ...
