Last Thursday, PrintAction hosted 230+ print professionals at the 2019 Canadian Printing Awards, where 113 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards were presented in five program sections: Industry Achievement, Print Design, Printing, Technology and Environmental. Now in its 14th year, the competition received a record 319 submissions in the Print Design and Printing categories, nearly 100 more than last year – many of which came from first-time entrants. We also saw an increased number of submissions in the Technology and Environmental categories.

During the evening, PrintAction also honoured five individuals who have had a significant impact on the Canadian printing industry:
