In December 2021, Kirk Rudy decided to develop their own brand of inkjet coated envelopes. However, a major shortage of paper hampered their plans. Paper supply has thankfully resumed, and Kirk Rudy now has produced over nine million inkjet coated envelopes.

Printhub.ink’s production capabilities should ultimately be expanded by roll to roll printer Karibu: reliability, colour consistent tiling, high speed quality output, and reduced turnaround times on roll to roll prints. Both the Nyala and the Karibu are equipped with the spot colour orange for the widest possible colour gamut and share the same configuration, making colour consistency between the machines excellent.
