Meet the Canadian Potato Summit speakers

The Canadian Potato Summit is quickly approaching. With just two weeks to go until this free, exciting virtual event, here’s a quick look at our speaker lineup:

Helen Tai is a potato genetics and genomics research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Fredericton, N.B.

David De Koeyer is a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and leader of AAFC’s National Potato Breeding Program with research activities at Fredericton and Lethbridge Research and Development Centres.

Erica Fava is co-ordinating the National Potato Variety Trials as the biologist and industry liaison.

Vikram Bisht is an agronomist and plant pathologist for Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Developement.

The industry panel consists of Shawn Brenn, chair of the Ontario Potato Board; Terence Hochstein, executive director of the Potato Growers of Alberta and Greg Donald, general manager of the P.E.I. Potato Board.
