Syngenta seed treatments are a great place to start. But before you treat, here are three things to consider:
- Know your seed
That means understanding the physiological age of your seed pieces, growing conditions, disease spectrum, seed characteristics and variety.
- Follow the seed treatment application guidelines
Pay special attention to seed treatment label rates and slurry volume to ensure you’re getting the best possible coverage and protection.
- Encourage wound healing (suberization)
Remember that temperature, humidity and availability of oxygen all play a role.
