Canada restores exports of P.E.I. table stock potatoes to Puerto Rico

While full market access to P.E.I. potatoes for the continental U.S. has not yet been restored, the Government of Canada says this move is an “important step” in the process.

Canada announces up to $182.7 million for On-Farm Climate Action Fund

Recipients include the New Brunswick Soil and Crop Improvement Association and Prince Edward Island Federation of Agriculture.

Editorial: Our circus, our monkeys

No matter what your role in the industry, it’s difficult to ignore the challenges facing growers since shipments of the potatoes to the U.S. were suspended.

SO MUCH POWER.
SO LITTLE EFFORT.

INTRODUCING THE NEW 3X CONCENTRATED FORMULATION OF CORAGEN® MAX INSECTICIDE.

NEW Coragen MaX insecticide comes in a 2L jug that covers more acres than the previous Coragen® insecticide 3.79 L jug. Now it’s an even more sound choice for potato growers and applicators:
  • Less product to handle while mixing
  • Smaller footprint in the shed
  • Less plastic
  • Fewer jugs to rinse

It still delivers extended control of European corn borer, armyworms, imported cabbage worms and more, with minimal impact on many important beneficial insects and pollinators*.

*When applied at label rates. In line with Integrated Pest Management and Good Agricultural Practices, insecticide applications should be made when pollinators are not foraging to avoid unnecessary exposure.
