Potato mop-top disease (PMTD) is an increasing issue affecting U.S. and Canadian growers – some even think it could be the next big production issue in the U.S. The soil-borne pathogen can cause symptoms in potato tubers and foliage, although in New Brunswick, most of the symptoms are in tubers.
