Photo highlights from University of Guelph’s potato research field day

This summer, researchers from the University of Guelph hosted the annual field day at the Elora Research Station. The event returned to its traditional format for the first time since the onset of the pandemic, bringing back the “open-house” style event. Researchers were present to discuss recent progress and findings on subjects such as Colorado Potato Beetle, potato early dying and more. Also present were the many varieties researchers have been observing. Varieties included Lady Liberty, Little Star and other table stock, chipping and French fry potatoes. » Read more...
