So far, the 2020s have been a trying decade for all, and farmers are no exception. The potato industry has faced a number of challenges this year, from labour and supply chain issues to devastating climate events. The year 2022 has brought a number of challenges, from the issues posed by the potato wart crisis to the fallout from Fiona. But the year was also filled with triumphs, from a record harvest to plenty of innovation advancements. We take a look back at the year that was for potatoes and what some of our favourite stories were.
