EXAIR Checklist of Must-Have Tools
Compressed air production and supply make up a significant portion of the cost of producing many items. To increase ROI, it is vitally important to monitor its use for any losses due to leakage or inefficient tooling. EXAIR's mission is to provide all of the tools you need to help you maximize production and minimize compressed air waste.

Here Are a Few:
Digital Flowmeter
EXAIR's Digital Flowmeter is the easy way to monitor compressed air consumption and waste! The digital display shows the exact amount of compressed air being used, making it easy to identify costly leaks or inefficient air products. It is designed for permanent or temporary mounting to a compressed air pipe. No cutting, welding, adjustments or calibration are ever required. Models are available that measure air flow (SCFM) in schedule 40 iron pipe from 1/2"-6" diameter. Air flow meters for copper pipe up to 4" diameter are also available.
Models are available with remote viewing, data loggers, wireless capability, hot taps, and pipe pressure sensing.

Electronic Flow Control (EFC)
EXAIR's EFC is a user-friendly electronic flow control for compressed air that is designed to minimize compressed air use on blow off, drying, cooling, conveying and static elimination operations. The EFC combines a photoelectric sensor with a timing control that limits compressed air use by turning off the air control valve when no part is present. The timing control permits easy tuning to the application requirements while providing flexibility in sensing distance. Available to improve applications with flow up to 350 SCFM.

Super Air Nozzle
Often, as a quick or 'inexpensive' solution, a manufacturer will use an open air pipe to remove dust or dry off a part on a production line. That quick solution will — in the long run — cost more money to operate, produce harmful noise, and create a potential safety hazard for operators.
The economical and safe Super Air Nozzle is truly cost-effective. It efficiently uses compressed air to produce outlet flows of up to 25 times consumption! Super Air Nozzles are engineered to produce low noise and to prevent the potential for a deadly blocked airflow condition.

Super Air Knife
EXAIR's Super Air Knife very efficiently produces a quiet, hard-hitting curtain of air for cleaning, drying and cooling on webs or conveyors. Both compressed air usage and noise are dramatically lower than other blowoffs. To provide edge-to-edge cleaning, it has been engineered to deliver a uniform sheet of laminar airflow across its entire length. Even at high pressures of 80 PSIG (5.5 BAR), the sound level is surprisingly quiet at 69dBA for most applications — well below OSHA workday limits. Super Air Knives are available in stock lengths from 3" (76mm) to 108" (2743mm) in aluminum, Type 303 stainless steel, Type 316 stainless steel, and PVDF.

Safety Air Gun
EXAIR’s Safety Air Guns are designed to work efficiently, quietly and safely. They use an engineered EXAIR Air Nozzle to provide superior performance by entraining large volumes of surrounding air. Safe operation is assured along with low air consumption and noise levels. Airflow that exits the nozzle can not be blocked, as required by OSHA standard 1910.242(b).
