Why you should be looking at 2101 Duplex Stainless

2101 is a Duplex grade of stainless. It is comparable in price to 316L, but:

• It is up to three times stronger - less twist on mixer shafts
• Resists corrosion in sour service
• Resists Stress Corrosion Cracking better than 304L or 316L
• Less susceptible to galling with other stainless grades
• Available in long lengths so cut-to-length mults are not a problem
• Available in precision finished "Guaranteed Bearing Fit"
• Available in pre-machined oversize; "The size will make the size."
• Easier to machine
• Service temperatures to 800°F (426°C)
