The world’s largest producer of eucalyptus pulp has entered a strategic partnership with CelluForce, a Canadian manufacturer of cellulose nanocrystal. Fibria has invested $5.3 million to become a strategic shareholder in the company, joining Domtar, FPInnovations and Schlumberger. CelluForce and Fibria will jointly develop additional cellulose nanocrystal applications.
