Twin Rivers Paper Company has completed the acquisition of the Pine Bluff, Ark. paper mill. Twin Rivers – based in Madawaska, Me. – produces specialty packaging, label, publishing and technical specialty papers as well as dimension lumber.

The Mondi Group has completed the acquisition of Powerflute. All conditions related to the acquisition have been satisfied, Mondi reports.


Sonoco to acquire Conitex Sonoco

Sonoco, a diversified global packaging company, has signed an agreement to acquire the remaining 70 per cent interest of the joint venture of Conitex Sonoco for about $133 million.
