Analysts and industry experts will “break down the current state of B.C.’s forest economy and the forces impacting our competitiveness” at next week’s event.
PAPTAC’s 2026 PaperWeek virtual conference opened with a Biofor/Energy Joint Session on enhancing the industry’s competitiveness through efficiency measures.
“There are many innovative ways to valorize our biomass, pulp and paper and woody resources into valuable products,” said Biofor session chair Shabnam Sanei.
Most commodity prices were largely flat in late February, as sawmills hoped to lean on order files until the weather breaks and demand presumably improves.
“The messaging, materials and advocacy that Two Sides provides play a valuable role in educating and informing,” says the packaging association’s president.
