$5-m funding given to seawater-fed, land-based aquaculture project

An innovative land-based aquaculture concept that uses seawater is finally getting off the ground thanks to more than $5 million in loans and grant from national development bank Innovation Norway.


Board approves Nordic Aquafarms plan for California RAS facility

The board of directors of Nordic Aquafarms has approved the land-based aquaculture company’s plans for a recirculating aquaculture system facility on the Samoa Peninsula of Humboldt County, California.


Nocera to build 400 RAS tanks for Chinese firm

The tanks being built for Dongguan CIMC Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., will be installed in the landlocked city of Kaili, in the southwestern Chinese province of Guizhou, according to a press release from Nocera. The deal is valued at around US$5.7 million.
