Norwegian aquaculture farmer, Bue Salmon received its licence to produce 50,000 tons of salmon at Lutelandet, an island in Norway.  The company already has a license for 5,500 tons of production in Bulandet.

Pure Blue Fish, an Israeli RAS farmer, has said that the 10,000 sea bass it stocked into its inland farm in July are thriving. The company’s farm in Binyamina, Israel touts itself as the “world's first commercial fish farming systems operating as 100 per cent recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS)”
