ASC showcases Chilean salmon farming during its Discovery Tours

The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) has concluded its third and final Discovery Tour of 2024. Participants had a five-day exploration of Southern Chile’s salmon farming industry during the final leg of its ASC Discovery Tour from Dec. 2-6.


Global aquaculture to see steady growth in 2025, RaboResearch predicts

A new report from RaboResearch states that the global aquaculture industry should see improved production growth for certain species in 2025. According to the report, Finfish production could have the greatest growth, while shrimp, which faces relatively low prices, is expected to grow just 2 per cent yearly.


Three-Sixty Aquaculture secures $4.4M to scale prawn RAS farm

Three-Sixty Aquaculture, a U.K. sushi-grade prawn farm, has raised £3.5m (US$ 4.4 million) in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by PrimeStar Industries, with participation from investors including Marcus Wareing and Matthew Freud.
