A contractor had to create a 3 miles long tramway addiction. Through a busy city centre, without disturbing traffic and residents.
To satisfy these requirements he chose an MB Crusher MB-R700 twin header to trace the route of the new tram. The MB-R700 hydraulic cutter installed on a Liebherr 914 excavator made it possible to limit vibrations and its design to reduce noise pollution worked in favor of this urban project.
The cutter performed with exceptional precision and the flow of traffic continued undisturbed. Also the milled material was used as filling, eliminating the haulage of the waste from the site, with a substantial reduction in costs.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on equipment manufacturers in Canada, according to a new survey released by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. Nearly half (47 per cent) of equipment manufacturers in Canada surveyed said it will take a year or more for their organizations to recover to pre-COVID business levels.
