AEM announces 2020 inductees into AEM Hall of Fame

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers Hall of Fame recognizes the pioneers whose inventions, ideas, leadership and courage have contributed to the industry and community’s quality of life. For 2020, AEM has selected three individuals to celebrate in its Hall of Fame: Art Moore, founder of Snorkel Lifts, and brothers Ray and Koop Ferwerda, inventors of the Gradall excavator.


Gordie Howe International Bridge construction on target despite COVID-19 delays

The builders are confident construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge is still on track to finish by late 2024 despite delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.


Lincoln receives $235,000 as part of aggregate program

The Town of Lincoln, Ont., received a report at its committee of the whole meeting that outlined the funding it’s getting through the province’s Aggregate Resources Act. And, while the town will receive more than it has in the past, some councillors want to see officials lobby for a further increase.
