Burlington bridge replacement project to begin this summer

A replacement project for Burlington’s Pine Cove Bridge, located between Lakeshore Road and Guelph Line, is set to begin on July 4. The project was designed by ELLIS Engineering, with a $5.4 million construction contract being awarded to Rankin Construction.


Lawsuit filed against Manitoba government regarding vehicular damage from roadwork

Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) has filed a lawsuit against the Manitoba government, Wintec Building Services, and an unidentified employee for vehicular damage caused by roadwork. The lawsuit was filed on May 8, with MPI seeking over $31,000 for tire and rim damage done to 12 vehicles between Oct. 11 and 13, 2021.
