CAT delivers new compact track loaders designed with user feedback

Yanmar’s new additions to mini excavator line-up mean comfort for operators

Operator comfort is top of mind for the designers of Yanmar Compact Equipment’s latest mini excavator offerings. The company released its next generation of equipment with the ViO80-7 and SV100-7. The latest updates to the machines include what Yanmar calls significant improvements to hydraulic efficiency, cab comfort and ease of maintenance.


New tires from Yokohama Off-Highway are made for the pit

Quarry, pit and mine operators were on the minds of designers at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires as they planned their most recent release. The company’s two new offerings, both deep-tread L-5 Galaxy radial wheel loader/dozer tires, were designed to handle hard rock and muddy surfaces with ease, making them ideal for quarry environments.


Teleo’s autonomous heavy construction vehicles to launch on active job site

A Florida-based construction company will be the first to use autonomous technology produced by Teleo on an active job site. The manufacturer of heavy construction equipment announced the sale of 42 new autonomous machines bought by eight construction customers. Among those customers was Florida’s Tomahawk Construction, who will be the first to deploy the vehicles in December.

Road work on major Montreal artery taking longer than expected

Three months after City of Montreal engineers closed down part of Notre-Dame Street East for emergency repairs, the major artery remains at one lane. The lane was closed in July when city workers discovered the cover to the underground sewer entrance was cracked, leaving the area unsafe for drivers.
