Construction on Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway will move up by at least a year after the Ontario government announced up to $73 million more in funding for the project. The money is contingent on the condition that work is allowed to proceed up to a 24-hour/seven-days-a-week basis. This accelerated timeline moves the construction completion date from April 2027 to at least April 2026.
