The Gordie Howe International Bridge is 95% complete

The Gordie Howe International Bridge, connecting Detroit, Michigan, to Windsor, Ontario, is nearing completion of its construction, estimated to be operational by fall 2025. After five years, the two massive tower cranes on either side of the Detroit River are retiring from the Bridge project as their job is done.


Amrize is now independent public company as spin-off from Holcim is official

Holcim has completed its 100 per cent spin-off of Amrize. As an independent public company, Amrize is now North America’s leading building solutions company from foundation to rooftop. The spin-off was completed via a dividend-in-kind distribution of one  Amrize share for every outstanding Holcim share owned as of the close of business on June 20, 2025.
