Ontario government introduces labour mobility changes

On Sept. 1, the Ontario government filed regulations that will support the removal of interprovincial barriers for Canadian workers coming to Ontario. Starting January 1, 2026, Canadians in certified professions can begin working in Ontario within 10 days, once the regulator has confirmed their credentials and requirements, states the provincial government in a media release.
