CAA joins coalition advocating for increased use of RCA

The push for using recycled asphalt and concrete is gaining momentum as the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) joins nine other influential organizations representing civil infrastructure leaders, builders, suppliers, and engineers, united behind the goal of increasing the use of Recycled Crushed Aggregates (RCA) in public infrastructure projects across Ontario.


TARBA discussion: What’s in the cards for RCA

In Ontario, less than seven per cent RCA is used in road building, tunnel and groundwork construction, according to the Toronto and Area Road Builders Association (TARBA). TARBA is pushing for 20 per cent of RCA to be used in public infrastructure projects.
