The New Panasonic i-PRO S-Series is AI enabled – update your surveillance operations

Panasonic i-PRO is excited to announce the introduction of artificial intelligence to our mainstream lineup – the S-Series. Capable of running AI on the edge, powerful analytics are now available at everyday prices.

Our new S-Series cameras include Artificial Intelligence – Video Motion Detection (AI-VMD) and AI People Search out-of-the-box to get you started. Our AI-VMD plug-in detects intruders, loitering, cross line and directional movement - never have your security team respond to false alarms again! AI People Detection helps you find people of interest faster by searching for attributes such as individuals not wearing masks in a specific timeframe. I-PRO AI will capture and store metadata only in the VMS server, reducing storage requirements and addressing privacy concerns.

Also, run up to 2 plug-ins per camera! With many other applications available for purchase and the option for custom application creation – i-PRO AI technology is truly a game changer. Check out the list of applications and SDK.

Another addition to this new line is sound classification, which allows you to set alarms for targeted sounds, such as gunshots, yelling, vehicle horns and glass breaking, using an external mic.
