Signs are being posted at Winnipeg parks, golf courses and athletic fields to warn residents that helicopter-delivered larvicide spraying will be taking place to eradicate mosquitoes from areas where standing water make ideal breeding grounds. The signs have been posted primarily to warn the public about overhead helicopters as opposed to the product being sprayed.
