A two-year-old athletic field built at Wallaceburg (Ont.) District Secondary School has been used sparingly since its construction, much to the dissatisfaction of parents whose children play high school and community sports. The field was deemed unsafe last spring, with metal fragments and brick pieces coming up from the soil, but nothing has yet been done to remedy the problem, the parents argue.
