Aurora to replace, expand dated synthetic turf field

An existing synthetic turf playing field at Aurora, Ont.'s Sheppard's Bush is now 10 years old and due for replacement. Local council has accepted a bid that comes in under budget to replace and expand the outdated multi purpose field surface in the spring.

Windsor getting new artificial sports field

A new $1.8-million artificial turf sports field will be constructed next year in Windsor, Ont. and is being designed for football, soccer, track and field, and other outdoor sports events. The projected opening for the field at Holy Names Catholic High School is September.


Dutch elm, ash borer throw significant one-two punch at Winnipeg
