A Nova Scotia senior citizen has fallen victim to a scam after prepaying for snow removal services and not getting what she paid for. Responding to a an online advertisement, she contacted the "contractor" who took her money, but failed to show when there was work to be done.

Cecil Hoekstra, former superintendent at the Cherry Hill Golf Club in Fort Erie, Ont., has passed away at the age of 82. Prior to his career in golf, he was a professional hockey player in the Montreal Canadiens system for several years.
