‘Not guilty’ plea entered to ‘Field of Dreams’ damage

A 20-year-old man has entered a not guilty plea after being charged with willfully damaging the iconic "Field of Dreams" from the Kevin Costner movie of the same name. The Ohio baseball field sustained about $5,500 in damages including deep gashes and damages sprinklers.


Irrigation work throws curve at Calgary little league

Work to install new irrigation at two Calgary ball diamonds has thrown a curve at a local little league. Thirteen-to-18-year-olds playing in the Bow Ridge Little League will have to look elsewhere for a place to play as the diamonds will be out of commission to accommodate the irrigation work. "We'll literally have to tell these guys, sorry, we can't field a team this year," the league's vice-president says.


Toro acquires L.T. Rich Products

The Toro Company has acquired L.T. Rich Products, a manufacturer of commercial zero-turn spreader/sprayers, aerators and snow and ice management equipment. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
