New eastern wheat class proposed

The Canadian Grain Commission is proposing to develop a Canada Eastern Special Purpose class. This class would allow all registered wheat varieties to be assigned to a class and receive a statutory Canadian grain grade.


Scholarships now open for young farmers

Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers (OYF) program is once again offering two $1,000 scholarships to Canadian agriculture students. Applications for the 2017 awards will be accepted until June 30.
